Half Marathon Finish

Running Accomplishments:

Maybe someday I'll have something noteworthy to post in this section. I have only completed three 5ks and a 5 miler; all at an average pace somewhere in the 9:00-9:30min/mile range

Painter's Half 2010 - 2:03:54

Short-Term Running Goals:

Painter's Half Marathon - would like to keep an average pace of 9:00min/mile.

Painter's Half - Went over my goal and finished in 2:03:54 :( It was my first half though.  I had a great time and learned what I need to work on.

Salt Lake Half Marathon - would like to finish in under 2 hours.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Would like to complete a full marathon in the fall of 2010 and finally conquer the Herriman Hill...to be honest, there are several hills in Herriman I'd love to conquer, but that one for sure!

Personal:

I am a stay-at-home mother, married and have two young boys.

Your welcome :) When mine gets bad I spend all night watching TV in pigeon. It's the best one to do for a long time, but I'm finding I really like 'cow faced' pose too. Google it and see how you like it.

I'm glad your 4 miles felt good and you had a couple nice speedy ones in there too!!

I just googled 'cow face' and tried to do it in my desk chair at work. I'm wearing a dress today so I didn't think crawling down on the ground would be appropriate. Needless to say, it wasn't pretty...

I am convinced that pigeon was invented by the devil, himself. That is by far my least favorite pose my yoga class does. It's a 'yoga for runners' class so we do A LOT of pigeon. Grrrrrr....

PIGEON rocks!!!! I could sleep in that position. Cow faced I do not love so much. RAD you are nuts!

Glad you are feeling GREAT!!! 1 more week to the big race, I can not wait to see how you do!

Kelli, cow faced just is EASIER to sit in and watch tv :) I'm lazy, I don't even have to get on the floor to do it.

But it HURTS!!!!

lol!! Maybe I don't do it right, but it doesn't hurt as much as pigeon. I swear sometimes I'm gonna split in 1/2 when I do pigeon!!
